Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms are intended to set out the conditions and procedures for using the location-based memo-sharing service provided by Balbadak (hereinafter the "Service"), as well as the rights and obligations of users and the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "User" means a member or non-member who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
• "Memo (Footprint)" means a post that a user leaves at a location on the map.
• "Visibility" means the feature that sets who a memo is shown to, among Only Me, Friends, Groups, or Everyone.

Article 3 (Contents of the Service)

The Service allows users to create, save, and view location-based memos on a map, share them by friend or group, and provides social features such as comments and likes. The contents of the Service may be changed as necessary for operational reasons.

The real-time location sharing feature, which users may use at their option, is governed separately by the Location-Based Services Terms of Use, and operates only where the user has given separate consent and actively turned it on.

Article 4 (Registration and Accounts)

Users may sign up through a Google or Apple account, or use the Service as a guest. Users are responsible for managing their account information, which may not be transferred or lent to others.

Article 5 (Obligations of Users)

• Users must not engage in any of the following acts.
• - Creating content that infringes the rights of others (personal information, reputation, copyright, etc.)
• - Posting false information, or abusive, hateful, obscene, or illegal information
• - Collecting or disclosing another person's location without authorization, or misusing it for purposes such as stalking
• - Interfering with the operation of the Service or accessing it through improper means

Article 6 (Management of Posts)

The rights to and responsibility for memos and comments created by a user rest with the author. The Service may, without prior notice, take measures such as deletion or access restriction with respect to posts that violate Article 5 or contravene applicable laws.

Article 7 (Provision and Modification of the Service)

As a rule, the Service is provided year-round without interruption; however, it may be temporarily suspended for reasons such as system maintenance, failures, or force majeure, in which case notice will be given before or after the fact.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

• The Service is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of content created by users.
• The accuracy of map and location information is not guaranteed, and the Service is not responsible for any damage arising from reliance on it.
• The Service has no obligation to intervene in disputes between users or between a user and a third party.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute related to use of the Service shall be brought before the competent court.
